WELCOME TO AMADEUS FESTIVAL VIENNA
AMADEUS Festival Vienna is a prestigious yearly event that dedicates to promoting the beauty of classical music through open-air concerts on the greenery and beautiful campus of the AMADEUS International School Vienna.
In addition to the open-air concerts, the Festival is committed to enriching the cultural landscape by presenting diverse projects. These include the Art Exhibition, the International Design Competition, the “Violins&Soul” Competition, the “Pianos&Soul” Competition and the Family & Fun Day (a special day dedicated to the local community).
The theme for AMADEUS Festival Vienna 2025 is “WOMEN&CULTURE”, promising to be another memorable and magnificent edition.

GREETINGS 2025
The cultural hub of Vienna was and still is the international centre of classical music. It is a centre of activity and home to many important musicians, just as it was for the great masters of past eras.
Institutions such as the Music and Arts Private University (MUK) and the AMADEUS International School Vienna combine education and music at the highest level.
The AMADEUS Festival Vienna has been enriching Vienna's cultural summer programme for five years. With the theme of women and culture, it sets an important focus in 2025 that complements Vienna's commitment to promoting women in the arts and sciences. A special highlight is the performance of the Vienna Choir Girls at the opening gala - a strong statement in favour of female presence in the world of music.
I would like to thank the AMADEUS International School Vienna for organising this outstanding festival and wish all visitors an inspiring cultural experience in our unique city of music, Vienna.

Every year the AMADEUS Festival offers a great line-up of concerts and events in Währing. Now in its fifth year, it has truly become one of the highlights of our neighborhoods cultural summer! The festival hosts top-class classical musicians and the accompanying events have plenty to offer for everyone.
This year's focus on “Women & Culture” highlights female creativity in classical music - a point of view that is still far too often overlooked. I am excited about the programme and its excellent performances, which are sure to inspire again this year!

The "Pianos&Soul" Salon Music Violin Competition, dedicated to the genre of salon music, has concluded with great success at the AMADEUS Festival Vienna 2024.
On 28 June, three finalists competed for the Grand Prize on the Festival Stage, delivering exceptional performances to the audiences-
We are delighted to extend, once again, our warmest congratulations to Edward Leung, the grand winner of this year’s competition, along with the public prize. We also would like to congratulate Soyeon Chang, who achieved second place, and Oksana Oposhian, who won third prizer.

JANOSKA WORKSHOP 2024 | 26 JUNE & 28 JUNE
After a very successful 2023 year, the AMADEUS Festival Vienna will be holding our fourth Janoska Ensemble Workshop. Musicians can have an insight into their amazing and unique style of music, as well as perform alongside them at the end of the workshop. The experience each musician will get will be beneficial to each, contributing to their musical paths.
We are sure that in 2024 the Janoska Ensemble Workshops will exceed our expectations us again. We hope to see many of our future stars become our founding participants.
